Welcome to our APS site (Antiphospholipid Syndrome) Bllood Clots Lupus, APS

Welcome!
This site is dedicated to those who suffer with Antiphospholipid syndrome/Lupus Anticoagulant: also known as APS.

Each person who is diagnosed with Antiphospholipid syndrome/APS finds themselves at a cross roads. There is a sense of relief upon finding at least an explanation to what has been going on. Their symptoms have a name and a cause, but there are few answers to what that actually means and what can be expected in the days ahead.

Whether you have suffered from a Deep Vein Thrombosis, a Pulmonary Embolism, a Stroke, or a Heart Attack, we want to be a source of encouragement, support, and helpful information to you and your loved ones.

This site is free: No Donations, No Joining Fee, and No Personal Requirements.

Please feel free to invite anyone to come and learn. Friends and family will benefit from an understanding of what you are going through and a knowledge of what they can expect. We welcome questions, comments, helpful links and anything else that you think would be a benefit to others in the same situation.

The First thing to know: YOU ARE NOT ALONE! For instance, over 1000 people, with amazing hearts and stories, came together to inspire this web site. Each one of those people are in a support group and currently have the same diagnoses as you.

The Second thing to know: Attitude plays an important role in dealing with any health concerns. Stay positive! Have hope! Make plans! Follow the doctor's advice and always inform them, and other health care professionals, of any changes in your condition. It is vital and it is your health!

The Third thing to know: You can make a difference! You can take back some control by educating yourself and others. Learn about this condition, share it with others, and invite them to this site.

(Oh, and please like us on Facebook if you want. It helps get the word out and we appreciate all the support we get.)

And Last, but not least:  We are VERY happy to have you here! We will strive to answer your questions and to keep this site up-to-date to the best of our ability. We will link to as many other sites as we can for further helpful information.  As we grow we hope you will grow with us.

Together we can move mountains. We truly believe each and every one of us has the power to change the world: one person and one day at a time!

Hope for all APS People (Antiphospholipid Syndrome) Blood clots, Lupus
